Force Sensing Linear Potentiometers (or FSLP) sense force on a single axis, along with force applied.
For analogy, FSLPs are comparable to force-sensing slider switch that responds to light touch, with a low profile (about as thick as a business card). Typical applications include electronic music and touch controls.
